Having gone through a spinoff and two mergers within the past five years Mika has a passion for driving complex organisational change within a diverse global environment where change is constant. Her Supply Chain background has enabled her to negotiate and stand up distribution networks in over 30 countries post company spinoff and merger. She is currently responsible for leading, developing and deploying best in class programs enabling Takeda’s Procurement transformation journey.
This includes modifying organisational & governance design, risk mitigation, supplier diversity and ethical sourcing programs. In 2018 Mika was awarded the emerging leader in risk management award by the Global Supply Chain Resiliency Council. She is creating a Supplier Development Program where Takeda partners with a select number of suppliers and provides SME’s, in varying areas of ethical sourcing, to make impactful change and further develop diverse suppliers. Mika is also the founder and President of “Equity Chat”, a platform for gender equity at the workplace, at the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
